Continuing to add personality while still creating a balanced and functional aesthetic in your space is this obsessive collector's main goal.

HAND-BOUND BROOM MAKER

House of Silvertongue makes hand-bound brooms for domestic rituals. Brooms occupy a unique place between the practical and the symbolic.

Each broom is hand-bound using traditional Appalachian foot-bobbin techniques using sorghum and nylon twine — stitching, weaving, wrapping, and shaping each piece by hand. They are functional objects, built for real use, but shaped with an eye toward atmosphere and presence.
